The Senior Analyst, Technical Business Analytics will lead the analysis and documentation of business and technical requirements, workflows, and processes to support strategic initiatives. This role involves data modeling, user acceptance testing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and productivity across systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring alignment and successful implementation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive identification and documentation of business and technical requirements across departments.
  • Perform data analysis and modeling to support proposed solutions.
  • Analyze and propose improvements across multiple business units and technical platforms.
  • Evaluate systems and business processes to identify areas for optimization and integration.
  • Determine and develop user requirements to enhance system usability.
  • Collaborate closely with project management teams and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Facilitate grooming and demo meetings to communicate findings and system functionalities.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to validate solutions against business needs.
  • Investigate and triage platform-related issues reported by users or stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear and consistent documentation of system requirements and updates.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis for IT projects, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in SQL and data analysis.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar ticket management systems.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Experience in transactional claims processing in one or more of the following domains: finance (banking, fintech), healthcare insurance, workers’ compensation,  pharmaceutical industry.
